Artist Statement
“Art is an experience and a discovery. By staying present in the creation of art, whichever elements, senses and mediums are used, there is an opportunity to discover something new about oneself and the world in which one inhabits and, if we are fortunate, a chance to share that discovery through the art itself.
Currently, I am particularly interested in uncovering the unseen, the beauty of what has been erased or marginalized, and to bring forward what is most needed in this world at this time. I am most passionate about bringing more awareness of our interdependence with each other and the natural world.”

What is Mandalica Arts?
Mandalica Arts is my formal business name as well as the container that holds the essence of my intentions and aspirations.
The name is derived from the word “mandala” which is a sanskrit word for circle. It is also a symbol that is used throughout the world to represent “sacred wholeness.”
I will write more about Mandalica Arts in the coming months.
In the meantime, I am in gratitude to all my teachers.
